Christy Short PMHNP-BC, APN, MSN

My passion for nursing has always been seated in the human experience and mental well-being.  I believe the root of healing, health, and happiness lies in mental health. Nurturing this innate aspect of myself has enabled me to grow into a practitioner that is dedicated to assisting my patients to achieve their optimal well-being.

Our Services

Psychiatric Evaluation

Initial appointment to evaluate your needs, goals, history, and mental well-being. Used for diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning.

Length: 90 minutes

Follow-Up

Subsequent appointments are used to determine treatment efficacy, see how you are doing, review any needed lab results, and make changes as needed. 

​

Length: 30 to 45 minutes

Brief Psychotherapy

Brief psychotherapy using mindfulness-based practices and talk therapy. Therapy is used alone or with medications in order to achieve optimal mental well-being. More extensive therapy will be referred out.
